Xiaomi Redmi 5 now official in the Philippines!
Last week, Xiaomi launched the new Redmi 5A and Redmi 5 Plus in the Philippines. Today, at the grand launch of the Xiaomi flagship store at SM Megamall, Xiaomi has also unveiled the Redmi 5 mid-range phone.

In case you missed it, the Redmi 5 is the slightly lower-end brother of the Redmi 5 Plus. It has a smaller 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 screen, toned down 64-bit Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 3,300mAh battery.

It also has a 12MP PDAF main camera, 5MP selfie shooter with LED flash, fingerprint scanner at the back, LTE connectivity, dual SIM slots, and Nougat based MIUI 9 skin.
