Lenovo S5 with 18:9 screen and Snapdragon 625 goes official!

As promised, Lenovo announced the S5 today. It's the company's latest mid-range smartphone equipped with an 18:9 screen and Snapdragon inside.

The Lenovo S5 goes with a metal-clad design and a 5.7-inch FHD+ 18:9 2.5D screen on top. Inside, it is powered by the ageing yet still capable 64-bit Snapdragon 625 octa-core chip with Adreno 506 GPU, up to 4GB RAM, up to 64GB of expandable storage, and 3,000mAh battery with USB Type-C charging.

In two colors

At the back, the S5 has a 13MP monochrome sensor paired with a 13MP RGB lens with f/2.2 aperture size and dual tone LED flash. In front, Lenovo boasts that its 16MP selfie camera has real-time A.I. face beautify features and face unlock.

It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back, 4G LTE connectivity, and Android 8.0 Oreo OS with ZUI 3.7 skin.
