Huawei's new Nova 2 lite has one of the most promising cameras found in the PHP 10K price tag.

8MP with flash in front! |
At the back, it goes with a 13MP f/2.2 primary sensor paired with another 2MP f/2.0 depth sensor for bokeh and portraits. It even has PDAF for faster and more accurate focus and LED flash for lowlight snaps.
For selfies, Huawei added a good type of 8MP f/2.0 camera with "Smart Selfie Toning Flash" and adjustable face beauty mode.
In case you are wonder how well did the its cameras performed initially, please have a look at our first few camera samples taken with the Nova 2 lite.

Okay, we are quite impressed with the first few snaps we took using the Huawei Nova 2 lite. Most of our daylight shots has plenty of colors and good details. There are few times where the shot would be a bit underexposed, but the details are still crisp and colors are natural looking overall.
It will struggle a little with dim indoor snaps as expected though. Lowlight performance is okay for the price, but the it is obviously lacking in color and detail.
The selfie camera is GREAT! For us, the Nova 2 lite has one of the better selfie camera sensor found in this price range. It has sharp details and good punchy colors. The face beauty mode won't over beautify you up to level 3. The selfie flash is impressive as well.
