The newly launched ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Lite is the most affordable smartphone of the company equipped with a dual camera setup.

At the back it features a 13MP f/2.0 + 5MP f/2.2 dual cameras with 120-degree wide angle lens, AF and LED flash. For selfies, it goes with an 8MP f/2.2 w/ 85-degree wide angle lens and softlight LED flash.

Both comes with a portrait mode and limited pro camera mode for the creative mobile photographers out there as well.

Intitially, the ASUS ZenFone 4 Max Lite shoots MUCH better photos than the regular ZenFone 4 Max. It simply has more details, punchier colors, better dynamic range, and overall texture than the higher-end ZenFone 4 Max.

But, of course, it'll still struggle in lowlight. The secondary 5MP f/2.2 camera with 120-degree wide lens also has that barrel distortion. Is is lesser in quality and colors than the primary 13MP f/2.0 shooter too.

The selfie camera is decent in performance so far too.

Overall, this device has the potential to ASUS's best budget Android camera phone yet.
