1. Mate 10 as a power bank - We all know the feeling of desperation when you are out and about and your battery is nearly dry. However, with the Mate 10 series you are actually a walking powerbank with their reverse charging capability. You can easily share your battery power to your tablet, laptop or your friend's device by simply connecting it to your Mate 10 via a USB Type-C cable and choose Reverse Charging in the USB Settings.

2. Smart Screenshot - Capturing funny message threads or saving webpages with important information for offline viewing was made more simple with the Mate 10. There are new gestures that you can use to capture screenshots. You can knock twice on the screen to take a simple screenshot, draw an S with your knuckle to capture a longer page and to be more precise, you can drag your knuckle across the screen for a partial screenshot.

3. Easily find your misplaced Mate 10 - Sooner or later, you will experience misplacing your smartphone. We all experience that. However, Huawei gave us a solution foe this common problem. The Mate 10 will respond to your voice when you are looking for it. You just need to access your Settings > Smart Assistance > Voice Control. From there, Enable Voice Wakeup by completing the voice training setup with a custom keyword. You just need to yell the keyword once you misplace your phone and the Mate 10 will ring and flash to call your attention.

4. Mate 10 as an Aircon control - Aircon remote controls are easily lost due to its minuscule size. The solution the Mate 10 series have for that is their Aircon Control function by using the built-in IR blaster. Just connect the Mate 10 or Mate 10 Pro to your aircon by using the smart controller app to adjust your Aircon preferences. You can also use the Mate as a remote control on other appliances.

5. Mate 10 as a translator - You don't have to be lost in translation every time you travel abroad. The Mate 10 Series can do the translation for you when it comes to non-English product boxes and signs. You just need to launch the Translator app and tap the camera icon to toggle the language translation settings. It even works offline!
