Right on schedule, Sony has launched the Xperia XZ1 in the Philippines, the latest high-end camera-centric handset from the iconic Japanese electronics brand.

It also has the famed 19 MP Motion Eye camera w/ up to 960 fps super slow motion video mode. What's new this year is it now has a 3D-scanning capability that can scan 3D images of faces, head, freeform, and food. In short, it can turn people and objects into high-resolution 3D avatars.
