Nokia 8 Unboxing And First Impressions
Return of the king? |
The build is incredible with a seamlessly beautiful marriage of metal and glass. We especially like the blue colored one as it really stands out. It reminded us of the beauty and pop that the HTC U11 exuded. This design from Nokia, however is slimmer and more refined.

Build Quality / Design
Sturdy and sexy build! |
The phone is slim, solid and lightweight! It's the definition of sexy! Though the back is incredibly prone to fingerprints and we found it to be great feel in the hands but you tend to feel like it will slip off. Otherwise, this is a well designed phone.
Slim, solid, and hefty!
The 5.3 Inch QHD IPS 2560 x 1440p that is protected by 2.5D Gorilla Glass that is bright, sharp and saturated. We like how the glass just seamlessly connect to the metal frame that screams refined and polished through and through which is what Nokia was known for.

The dark blue has different tones to it depending on the amount and the direction of the light hitting the phone. We can't get enough of it. We're hoping for more colors. The phone comes in steel and blue color for now.
The hardware buttons have this satisfying tactile feedback that you will enjoy whenever you decide to press them. The fingerprint scanner is fast and accurate and placed below the screen.
