IFA 2017: Sony Announces Xperia XZ1 And XZ1 Compact With Oreo OS

At IFA 2017, Sony Mobile has announced two new Xperia phones with class-leading Snapdragon 835 octa core processor and the newest Android 8.0 Oreo OS.

First is the Sony Xperia XZ1, a flagship grade smartphone on paper with identical specs with Xperia XZ Premium and ageing design of Xperia XZs. It has a smaller 5.2 inch FHD HDR Triluminos screen with Sony's own X-Reality for mobile picture engine and Dynamic Contrast Enhancement technology.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact is the compact flagship smartphone that fans of small smartphones should consider. It has a 4.6 inch HD HDR Triluminos screen with 2.45 GHz 64 Bit Snapdragon 835 octa core processor, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, and 2,700 mAh battery w/ Quick Charge 3.0 tech.

It also has the same 19 MP Motion Eye camera w/ 960 fps super slow motion, but has an upgraded 18 MP f/2.4 sensor w/ 120 degrees wide angle lens.

The rest of the specs are the same with the bigger Xperia XZ1.
