How? The dual camera setup of OnePlus 5 includes a 16 MP Sony IMX398 shooter with bright and wide f/1.7 aperture size with optical images stabilization and a secondary 20 MP Sony IMX350 f/2.6 sensor with 2x telephoto lens and PDAF focus.
The primary 16 MP sensor captures color and depth. The second sensor allows effects like bokeh (portrait mode) and 2x optical zoom.
For selfies, it could be the very best out there. OnePlus has added the 16 MP f/2.0 Sony IMX371 w/ EIS for selfies.
Interesting right? Here's our first few shots!

The dual main camera setup of OnePlus 5 ranks among the best we've seen yet. Color reproduction is great and has nice saturation and contrast. It doesn't have the brightest output out there, but details are very fine and it performs well in lowlight.
The portrait mode is also fun to use and can produce deep background blur. The zoom is also fine and quite detailed. However, we noticed that shots are has more grains in telephoto zoom mode.
For selfies, we are IMPRESSED! Even if it doesn't have the wide angle mode, clarity and detail is amazing. The screen flash is also quite fast and strong.
That's it for now. We'll further test the cameras of this device in the next few days.
Stay tuned for our full review!
