If you can recall, Nokia-built devices used the Carl Zeiss lenses for years and used it as their key selling point. Under the rekindled partnership, HMD is bringing the Zeiss branding back on the era of Nokia Android powered smartphones.

HMD hasn't committed to a timeline when they'll release the first Nokia Android smartphone with Carl Zeiss optics yet. But, the company has promised a premium camera-centric handset for the future.
Let's expect it to be something formidable to rival Huawei's Leica, Sony and Samsung's ISOCELL lenses.
