Flagship grade cameras? |
Enter Xperia XZs, the latest high-end smartphone from Sony to hit our local shores. It boasts a new type of Motion Eye camera technology designed to take super slow motion videos up to 960 fps ala DSLR cameras.
On top of that, Sony equipped its 19 MP f/2.0 1/2.3 Inch Exmor RS camera sensor w/ most of the modern camera features like Hybrid AF and Sony's own SteadyShot technology to shoot great photos on a smartphone. In front, there's an interesting 13 MP f/2.0 1/3.06 Inch Exmor RS sensor w/ wide angle lens for selfies or groufies.
I know most of you are excited to see how well its cameras can perform. Here's our first few shots!

For point and shoots, the Sony Xperia XZs performed well under the "Superior Auto" settings. Most of our first few shots are rich in colors with good accuracy and plenty of details. It tends to be underexposed at times, but it is still great enough to compete with the other high-end smartphones in the camera department. Lowlight performance is nice as well. For selfies, it is very wide in angle and rich colors too.
