Mobile World Congress is when the mobile device manufacturers announce their latest and greatest that they've been developing for the past 12 months. Being one of the biggest names on the market, Samsung does not disappoint with three new tablets!
|
The new Galaxy Tab S3! |
The first is the update to the Galaxy Tab line, the Galaxy Tab S3 which is an update to a tablet that came out in recent years. Aside from the usual spec bump, it now allows for full integration with the Galaxy Note's S-Pen. Making this tablet viable for precision productivity and creativity! It runs the latest Android Nougat on a 9.7 inch Super AMOLED display with a whopping 6000 mAh of battery, charged via USB-C, and powered by a Snapdragon 820 to push all those pixels!
Equipped with 4 GB of RAM for multitasking and a 13 MP with flash main camera and a secondary 5 MP. It comes to the USA with 32 GB with micro SD expansion capability. It has the usual Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. The LTE is optional for some models.

It comes in black, silver, and white |
Lastly, the Galaxy Tab S3 comes in three colors: Black, Silver and White.

Galaxy Book 10.6 is so sleek! |
The other two tablets are a new line that Samsung calls the Galaxy Book series. There are two versions, a 10.6 inch model and a 12 inch model. Both will be running Windows 10 and will include the keyboard out of the box. The 10.5 inch model will be packing a Core-M processor while the bigger 12 inch model will have a i5 Kabylake processor.

Like the Tab S3, both models will support the S-pen and look to improve creativity and productivity for Windows Tablet users everywhere!
What surprised us is that 12 inch model supports HDR from Samsung's TV division; thus, making it an entry to be a mobile multimedia powerhouse. The 10 inch model's HD LCD display unfortunately doesn't get this feature.
For cameras, the 10.6 only has one 5 MP front facing camera while the 12 has a 13 MP AF main camera and a 5 MP front facing camera for conference calls. For connectivity both use a USB-C. For storage, the 10.6 model starts with a 4 GB + 64 GB / 128 GB micro SD support. The 12 inch model on the other hand starts with either a 4 GB + 128 SSD or an 8 GB + 256 SSD with both supporting up to 256 micro SD expansion.
Both Devices support WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS / GLONAS out of the box.
Of the two tablets, the 12 inch model is the more attractive one with a more powerful processor, superior display and a slimmer design.
Stay tuned for more details!
