Cloudfone Teased The NBA Edition Phone?

At the NBA All-Star weekend festivities at BGC High Street, Cloudfone has teased their latest upcoming handset. In collaboration / partnership with NBA, the two brands will unleash a handset designed for the every NBA fan.

Is this the NBA edition phone?

It's a setup that might be similar to what the company did with the Special Edition and Spotify Edition smartphone last year. If that's the case, this will be the very first NBA branded smartphone in our region.

The solid metal casing ala CloudFone Next

Anyway, the Cloudfone has showed us the device and teased some of its key specs. The handset will feature a solid metal case and a 5.5 inch HD IPS 2.5D screen w/ Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

It'll be powered with a new type of 64 bit quad core chip, 13 MP Samsung main camera, 5 MP front facing camera, LTE connectivity, and HUGE 4,000 mAh of battery. Cloudfone stated that it can last for up to two days in a single charge. We also suspect that the home button also serves as a fingerprint sensor.

Unfortunately, Cloudfone was very quiet with the rest of the missing details. We speculate that it could have special contents and freebies from NBA in-line with this on-going partnership.
