Also known as the Honor 6X and Mate 9 Lite in other regions, Huawei's upgrade of the popular GR5 is named as Huawei GR5 2017 for South East Asia.

As a quick refresher, the Huawei GR5 2017 is a slim metal clad handset that highlights a dual camera setup ala Mate 9. It also sports a 5.5 inch FHD screen w/ 2.5D curved glass on top, 64 bit Kirin 655 octa core processor, either 3 / 4 GB of RAM, 32 / 64 GB of expandable storage, and quite large 3,340 mAh of battery.

Like what we said earlier, it highlights a dual camera setup. It includes a 12 MP w/ 6P lens, PDAF and 2 MP secondary sensor, and LED flash. In front, an 8 MP camera w/ wide angle lens and auto face detection is present. Then it has the standard LTE connectivity, fingerprint scanner, and dual SIM card slot.
