Chico Mobile Is The Latest Smartphone Brand In The Philippines

This is not a joke. Based on what Ronnotthedj saw, the newest smartphone brand to enter the Philippine market is Chico Mobile.

Based on its Philippine fruit name, Chico, this suggest that this new smartphone brand is locally based. We also speculate that it could be a sub-brand of ZH&K Mobile as they were seen together in a Christmas party photo with both of their logos printed on the background.

Chico Mobile Strom 86 DTV

Anyway, according to Chico Mobile's Facebook page, the first handset that they're offering in PH is the Strom 86 DTV. It's an entry-level handset with a 5 inch HD LCD screen, unknown type of quad core processor, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, 2 MP main camera, 2 MP selfie camera, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Chico Mobile Strom 86 DTV (could also be Storm 86 DTV) boots with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

It's available all existing Chico mobile branches in Metro Manila with an unknown price tag yet. Stay tuned for more details about this new smartphone brand.
