Build Quality / Design

iPhone inspired design at the back This photo shows the antenna lines, the small camera protrusion, single LED flash and SKK logo |
With no doubt, the SKK's Hyper X Blade is inspired by Apple's iPhone 6 and up. It boast a mostly aluminum metal unibody with rounded corner curves and chamfered edges. It doesn't use the same level premium metal that most higher-end phones, but this is still a decent one. On top, the body is paired with a layer of sleek looking 2.5D curved glass w/ tempered glass protection.
The phone feels solid and well crafted too!
Overall, the construction of the phone feels more premium than your average budget phone. There are very few device with this level of craftsmanship for the price. Then its included polymer case with leather cover and tempered glass will ensure its safety against drops and scratches.

Looking at the design, iPhone fans who want an Android phone on a very tight budget will appreciate this. On the other hand, it may also look like a knock-off which isn't that good for some.
It'll just remind you of several iPhone models!
Looking at the way it is built, we like its generous curves all over, it looks very slim, and that 2.5D curved screen adds more beauty to this machine. To compliment that, SKK also ensured that the FREE faux leather case is equally beautiful.

At the back of its beautiful case |
Ergonomically, it is close to a masterpiece. One handed use is possible, it is great in the hands, and doesn't have any sharp edges. It feels refined and far from hefty / tiring to use as well. Ports and button placements are also easy to reach and use.

As of the moment
In terms of build and ergonomics, the SKK Hyper X Blade is excellent for the price. As a result, we are initially pleased with the way it is presented. We also like that the package is generous.
In terms of initial feel on performance, as expected, the phone is snappy enough for casual usage and random snapping of photos. We'll further test it out in the coming weeks and see its strengths and weaknesses in actual daily usage.
