Unboxing / Accessories
The black new box of CloudFone |
Like the Thrill Plus, the Thrill Access is equipped with the same new packaging design of CloudFone. It highlights the assumed stylish look and new fingerprint control feature.
All the generous finds inside the box |
Like what we said before, this is the type of generous package we like!It makes the package complete which gives convenience with added handset protection. Plus we believe that this type of initiatives will win customer trust and love in the long run. Keep it up!
Build Quality / Design
The metal casing of the phone showing the protruding camera, flash, logo, and speaker below |
Coming from the great build and style of the Thrill Plus, this handset can definitely keep up. As a matter of fact, it is slightly improved and feels tougher than ever. The metal case it is using feels harder to bend is has more metal than ever. In front, there 5 inch screen is made out of glass that doesn't have Gorilla or Dragontrail glass coating on top. Fortunately, it doesn't scratch easily and isn't that prone to fingerprint smudges.
Metal case removed (micro SD card and dual SIM slots present) |
Having this type of build ensures that the phone is designed to last. Even if it has plastic parts inside, the metal case is there to protect the internals of the phone.
3.5 mm headphone jack found on top There's also the earspeaker and selfie cam w/ flash above |
Microphone and micro USB slot |
Textured power button and volume rocker at right |
Looking at its design, this is their most stylish yet! It has more curves and grip than usual CloudFone devices. The metal cover has upper slightly chamfered edges, good semi rounded corners, and gorgeous curve edge at the back. This phone also has a good type of upper and lower grip that prevents it from being slippery to hold.
So far, the only notable flaw in its design is the protruding camera behind that might get scratches if you don't like using the TPU case included.
The Thrill Access is looks good enough to be a flaunt worthy phone!Speaking of grip and hold, this a rare type of an affordable smartphone that feels refined. The craftsmanship is exquisite, a joy to hold, and has the right amount of weight that won't make it tiring in the hands. The rest of the ports and buttons are easy to reach and locate as well.

As of the moment
Over 10 hours of work battery life is GREAT! |
CloudFone's Thrill Access is a joy to use so far. The build and design is outstanding for the price, it seems to be a stable phone, and takes great photos. On top of that, we enjoyed that it has long battery life for a device with 2,500 mAh rating only.
Then we are excited to see the full potential of its 8 MP main camera w/ manual controls, 5 MP wide angle selfie camera w/ flash, and etc.
