Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 Now In PH, Retails At 7990 Pesos

Earlier while strolling around SM Megamall, we spotted new offering from Samsung that they silently launched in the country. Dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy J3 2016, this handset features a 5 inch HD AMOLED screen with an unfamiliar setup.

Going to what the phone can offer it uses an SoC combo that left us scratching our heads in the form of a 1.2 GHz SC8830 quad core processor paired with Mali 400 GPU.

Anyway, this device also has 1.5 GB RAM, 8 GB expandable ROM and 2,600 mAh of battery capacity. It's also using an 8 MP rear camera w/ f/2.2 aperture, 5 MP f/2.2 selfie camera and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

What's surprising here is the addition of LTE module which is unexpected for a phone that's using a lowly Spreadtrum chip.
