Yesterday, Xiaomi held a big event where they unveiled the highly anticipated next iteration of their Redmi Note line, the Redmi Note 3.

This time it is the first from that series of smartphone from Xiaomi that incorporated a fingerprint sensor. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 also boast an industrial metal frame with a 5.5 inch Full HD screen that utilizes their own sunlight display technology in full lamination to prevent scratches.

Under the hood this phone packs the Helio X10 MT6795 octa core processor, PowerVR 6200 GPU and HUGE 4,000 mAh of battery capacity. You also get either 2 / 3 GB of RAM and 16 / 32 GB of internal storage options. The Redmi Note 3 also uses a 13 MP sensor with PDAF sensor and 5 MP selfie camera.

Price starts at RMB 899 (roughly around 6.7K) for the 2 GB RAM / 16 GB ROM model and RMB 1099 (roughly around 8K) for 3 GB RAM / 32 GB ROM variant. Pretty great deals.
For now we have no idea if Xiaomi Philippines will bring this one here.
