Cherry Mobile Flare 4 And Flare S4 Quick Comparison, The New Game Changers Under 5000 Pesos!

Cherry Mobile, this company has that great tradition of changing the game always for the better. This time it appears that they did it again by releasing not one but two devices with never before seen specs under 5K.

Called the Cherry Mobile Flare 4 and Cherry Mobile Flare S4, both of those devices beats the likes of SKK Lynx, MyPhone My31 and even their own Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power by a mile. Just check out the specs below.

Specs analysis

Given that both phones uses 1.3 GHz 64 Bit MT6753 octa core processor, Mali T720 for graphics, paired with 2 GB of RAM, I'm expecting that it will perform on the same level of the Flash 2 and M2 Note Note. I also liked the fact that Cherry Mobile increased the ROM to 16 GB that enables users to store more files and install more apps. This should be able to run almost all of the heavy games and apps today and should have less hiccups compared to other budget phones with lesser specifications.

Some may think that the 2,100 / 2,200 mAh battery capacity might not be enough, but based on my experience with these kind of setup it should be just fine for casual users. Oh by the way both phones has LTE connectivity!

In general, both devices are amazing for the price with the Flare S4 having a slight advantage due to a slightly larger battery capacity.

Build / Design Impressions

We all know that both devices has almost the same specifications except for the slight difference in battery capacity. What's different between the two impressive devices launched by Cherry Mobile is their design and build.

The Flare 4 comes in a more rounded tougher looking metal framed sides with a plastic faux leather like back cover. On the other hand the Flare S4 comes with the "Flare luxe" plastic back cover that looks stylish. There are also slight differences in buttons and jack placements.

So far I loved everything that I saw with both devices. I'm a huge fan of phones with 2.5D glass and I'm really glad that Cherry Mobile included it with those units. The Flare 4 will come in pink, black, white and gold colors while the Flare S4 will arrive in white gold, white silver, black silver and black black colors.

As of the moment

Cherry Mobile did it again! While it's quite unfortunate that we were really not able to spend much time with the devices. Based on what we shortly saw / experienced, both devices are extremely promising and packs a lot of value that's never before seen in this price range. Definitely a must consider / must have under 5,000 Pesos.
